Ivan Leung
Senior Pastor
Pastor
Ivan Leung was born in Hong Kong and was trained
as a special education teacher at Grantham College
of Education before he was called by God to serve
in full time ministry. Having graduated at Evangel
Seminary in Hong Kong, he furthered his studies
at Regent
College, Vancouver, B.C., receiving the Master
of Christian Studies and Master of Divinity degrees.
In 1999, he completed the Doctor of Ministry degree
at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He and
his wife Eva have two children, Dorcas and Titus.
Pastor Ivan is the VCAC Senior Pastor of Knight Street, Fraser Lands, and North Burnaby. He is also serving as the Knight Street Site Coordinating Pastor and the Cantonese Congregation Pastor for the 11:00 am service at Knight Street.

Paul Choy
Associate Pastor (Cantonese Ministry)
Born
in Hong Kong, Pastor Paul Choy accepted Christ as
his personal saviour in 1969 while attending the
Kowloon Tong Church of the C&MA. While still
in high school, Paul moved to Vancouver, British
Columbia. During this time, he attended Vancouver
Chinese Alliance Church, serving here as a youth
leader.
By
the grace of God, Pastor Paul was called into full-time
ministry in 1973. Four years later, he and his wife
of six months, Molly, joined the Chinese Christian
Mission in California, USA. It was while serving
there that God blessed them with two boys.
The
Choys eventually moved back to Canada and attended
the Prairie Bible Institute (PBI)
in Alberta, completing their training in 1988. They
were grateful that their home church in Vancouver
invited Paul to return to VCAC and pastor the English-speaking
congregation, and God enabled him to serve in that
ministry for three years.
Ordained
in 1992, Pastor Paul is now mainly involved in preaching,
teaching, training, and pastoral care for the Cantonese-speaking congregation
at Fraser Lands. He is also overseeing the VCAC Missions Department as well as serving as the Fraser Lands Site Coordinating Pastor.

Lawrence Yuen
Associate Pastor (English Ministry)
Pastor
Lawrence is VCAC's Pastor of Administration. He also coordinates
the English ministries at Knight Street & Fraser Lands. One of Lawrence's passions is helping
people to see, discover, enjoy and freely use their
individual giftedness, talents, and creativity in
serving God. The other areas of church life that
Lawrence enjoys serving in are: adult
small groups ministries; premarital counseling program;
counseling ministries; hospital visitation; and
preaching and teaching. Lawrence likes to exercise
spiritual gifts in leadership, teaching, administration,
counseling & hospitality.
Pastor
Lawrence and his wife, Suling, love to open their
home and extend hospitality to people. Lawrence
particularly likes the area of creative craftsmanship,
and enjoys building projects with his retired-carpenter
dad for the church and for his sons, Matthias and
Harrison, and daughter, Solana.

commonly known as Pastor Larry, Lawrence was born
in Victoria and is a graduate of Canadian Theological
Seminary in Calgary.
Lawrence’s
passion is to see students grow and become the influencers
of the next generation for God’s Kingdom. Lawrence
oversees the youth ministry at Fraser Lands. These include Friday
Knightz & ACTS Fellowships, Teens’
Sunday Worship and Teens’ Camp. His other passions
are prayer, worship, and hanging out with the youth
(including shopping, bubble tea, and playing video
games!!!).

Pastor Zion serves as the VCAC Music Pastor helping at our Knight Street, Fraser Lands, and North Burnaby locations.
She was born in Hong Kong and received her undergraduate as well as graduate music education in the U.S., earning a Doctor of Music degree in Organ & Church Music from Indiana University. She is also a graduate of the ACTS Seminaries in Langley, B.C.
Her passion is to see that music is used effectively to glorify God, to build up brothers and sisters in their faith, as well as reaching out to others.
